Myrniong Hill Climb 15th April – After ‘West Side’ coffee Our President Les current record holder Clubbie
Silencers Les told the story of how several clubbies were ‘reported’ for having loud exhausts and the story of how it was rectified. Warning: Police & members of the public can report you for having a ‘noisy’ vehicle and you will receive a rectify notice in the mail. The club has now purchased a noise meter to assist club members measure noise levels of their vehicle to assist them in exhaust ‘tuning’.
East Side Coffee Update Sando gave an update on the gatherings, on average there has been 10~12 cars with 20~30 people. Good coffee and good discussion.
Website Debate Discussed the pro’s & con’s of a different web strategy. To enable more update information the following is proposed – Use ozclubbies as the main communication tool, updating people on events and other club communication (meeting minutes, agendas, general discussion). – Continue using our website, have a calendar and notification of our regular meetings but direct users to the ozclubbies website for more up to date information and communication.
Not the Nationals Date and place has been set, Bright – 17 Nov weekend. More information will be formalised as the event gets closer.
QLD Nationals 2013 Event will be a mid week event. More info will be formalised closer to the event.
SVA Tim gave an update on the goings on in the SVA. Vic Red Plate Sando discussed pro’s and con’s of the plate scheme and pushed for VCBG to join. In-depth discussion was had and further enquires are being made.
Club Membership Club will try & introduce a structure for club membership. To try and get members (young & old to pay up). Renewal dates and other avenues will be investigated.
